Conscious of the fact that the results of the Nazi past are still visible and can only be overcome through an intensive dialogue Action Reconciliation Service for Peace (ARSP) works for a better understanding between generations, cultures, religions, and peoples.
Steeped in the Christian faith ARSP works with all who seek a more peaceful and fairer world.
Aktion (Action)
ARSP follows its goals with concrete action; this is done though the practical work of volunteers who are active in various social and political projects in more than 13 countries. ASRP is conscience of the fact that people come closer and understand each other when working together. They can change and bring something new into the projects.
Sühnezeichen (Atonement /Reconciliation)
The concept of Sühnezeichen is to be responsible for the Nazi past in a symbolic way. The Nazi crimes cannot be amended. However, through concrete acts a process of reconciliation can take place.
Friedensdienste (Peace Service)
ARSP seeks a complete and fair peace. We work therefore in projects which work against discrimination of persons due to their religion, political beliefs, national or social background, skin color, language, physical condition, sexual orientation, sexual identity, age, or gender.
