It would not be possible to have long-term and short-term volunteer services without the commitment of former volunteers and other friends/supporters who work for the ARSP in their spare time. Providing their own experiences, they support ARSP in choosing and preparing the volunteers and in the planning of the work camps. The sharing of knowledge and experiences also rouses people's desire to experience something new and interesting with the ARSP.
The ARSP regional groups organize informational sessions, visit schools, youth clubs and church congregations and encourage people to talk about the experiences they made when living in a foreign country. In the framework of the project Blickwechsel (change of view) former volunteers do workshops on topics such as right-wing extremism, Nazi history, anti-Semitism, and racism in Berlin and Brandenburg .
