Our international meeting centres seek to develop the understanding of National Socialilsm and its consequences, particularly among young Germans, through dialogue and encounter between people of different origins.
Aktion Sühnezeichen Friedensdienste e.V. has developed very close links with three international meeting centres. Regular activities take place in the International Youth Centre Oświęcim/Auschwitz (Poland), in Beit Ben Yehuda – House Pax (Israel) and in the Foyer le Pont (France). The centres offer accommodation and education programmes for groups and individuals.
The international meeting centre Beit Ben Yehuda – House Pax (BBY) in Jerusalem offers low budget accommodation as well as exciting language courses in Yiddish, Hebrew and Arabic for individuals and groups. There will be special offers in the course of the 50th anniversary of the ASF in Israel. (more)
The International Youth Centre (IJBS) in Oświęcim/Auschwitz was founded in 1986 as an educational institution for groups and individuals. Partly, the project is the result of long-term personal commitment of women and men that worked with Aktion Sühnezeichen Friedensdienste in the GDR and in the FRG in order to promote German-Polish and Christian-Jewish dialogue. The Foyer le Pont is an international meeting centre of the Protestant Churches in Europe, it offers accommodation and a broad range of seminars in the very heart of Paris. Foyer le Pont also participates in the 50th anniversary of ARSP in France. (more)
