Summer Camps

Europe has a lot of marks and traces of resistance against the Nazi regime. The ARSP summer camps 2017 offered the possibility to explore the histories and biographies of persons from opposition and democracy movements in different european countries. Get to know histortical places and their history and what they mean to you today. Meet active young people from all over Europe and experience Europe in a new involving way.


16.07. - 30.07.2017

Explore Budapest, the old metropolis of jewish life and it's vibrant jewish community, one of the largest in Europe today



06.08. - 20.08.2017

With the camera against oblivion: the camp offered the chance to make overgrown jewish gravestones and epitaphs visible again and document them for the rest of the world



19.08. - 03.09.2017

Museum in a suitcase: In northern Greece we worked on the histories of villages that fell victim to fascist massacres and of the jewish population of the region and helped to create a mobile museum



27.08. - 10.09.2017

Seeking traces of active resistance against fascism in Tuscany, we looked into the struggle of italian partisans
