Support for People with Disabilities

Our project partners often have an integrative approach in the field of working with people with disabilties. They are perceived and treated as equal members of our society. A volunteer service in this project area is an exciting journey in the course of which one learns to see the world through different eyes.

In some projects people with and without disabilities live together in a community, most of which have a religious or anthroposophical background. The volunteers form an equal part of these communities. They help with domestic tasks and they work – often together with other international volunteers - in the workshops.

The volunteers should bring enthusiasm, humour, flexibility, and patience to their project.
