Volunteer Service in the Berlin Gay Museum (Berlin)

The Berlin Gay Museum is a unique institution with an international reputation. Since its founding in 1985, it has developed to a place dedicated to art and history in the field of homosexualities and thereby also in the sense of queer. We are looking for a person who assists the Press and Public Relations department of the Gay Museum as well as its exhibition office. German skills are required. more

Volunteer Service in the Concentration Camp Memorial Neuengamme (Hamburg)

The memorial site of the former concentration camp Neuengamme is located in the northern part of Germany, close to the city of Hamburg. This placement is combined with visiting services for seniors in Hamburg (Solidarity for the Elderly). We are looking for a person who is an English native speaker or has a very good command of English as well as knowledge of German, who is interested in historical and political education and able to work self directedly. more

Volunteer Service in the Concentration Camp Memorial Flossenbürg (Weiden)

Between 1938 and 1945, a concentration camp existed in Flossenbürg, a small village near the German-Czech border in the Upper Palatinate (Oberpfalz). Today, the memorial site is a European place of remembrance. We are looking for a person with good German language skills who is interested in historical and political education, who is able to work independently and who can see herself*himself living in a rural area and working with a stimulating team. more
